Giuseppe Desiato (1987) is an italian Composer and Saxphone Player. His approach to sounds has always been made as a continuous research on the malleability of the sound. Every material is meticulously chosen and deeply crafted to create multi-layered structures that just give an idea of clarity and strength. Many of his compositions are influenced by shapes, landscapes, architectures and video art.
Desiato's upcoming and past previous collaborations include performances by Dario Calderone, Anna Clementi, Hugh Watkins, Alexandra Wood, Sepura Brass Septet and Chroma Ensemble and Resonanz Ensemble among others.
Desiato holds an M.Mus in Composition from the Royal Academy of Music (London), an M.A. in Saxophone and a B.M. in Jazz Composition from the Conservatorio "Licinio Refice" of Frosinone. in 2014/2015 he studied with Salvatore Sciarrino and he is now finishing the B.M. in Electronic Music under the guide of Michelangelo Lupone and Nicola Bernardini in Rome.
